Ranger Officer
CTVSP is looking for part-time staff to fill positions as Range Officer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Range Officer (RO) duties and expectations include, but are not specifically limited to:
- Supervise and direct a safe and efficient range.
- Enforce all firearms and range safety rules on the range.
- Conduct range safety briefings when and as necessary.
- Act as an ambassador for the range by providing excellent customer service to all customers.
- Conduct range opening and closing inspections and procedures.
- Assist shooters with stoppages, malfunctions and other issues or questions on the range.
- Advise the Club Manager of any mechanical or facility issues that may need attention or repair.
- Check out and return any equipment needed for range operations.
- Cleaning rental firearms and stocking ammunition shelves.
- Any other duties assigned by the Club Manager.

WORK LOCATION:
CTVSP in Montreal, Quebec.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 5:00pm
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have been a member of a shooting range for at least one year prior.
- Must have a current Official De Tir with the FQT or willing to acquire one prior to starting.
- Ability to give verbal commands in French and English.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic knowledge and principles of firearms (pistols, rifles, and shotguns) and the shooting industry.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
- Naturally friendly and positive daily attitude.
- Highly self motivated/able to work without direction.
- Desire to learn new skills and accept responsibility.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work inside at a shooting range facility.
- Ability to stand or sit for an extended period of time.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
